It's another MTM! Yay! This week is all about the color ORANGE, but before I get to that, I thought I'd talk about last week's MTM. I didn't get around to posting it, but we did do a RED muffin tin.
She had quite the variety for the RED tin. There were tomatoes (just to try), strawberries (she'd never had these before, either), Jello cheesecake stuff, and red berries yogurt (although it looks more purple). She of course loved the Jello stuff and the yogurt but didn't dig the tomatoes or strawberries. She's just not used to it so I'm going to have to try those again another day.
For ORANGE this week, we did a little snack tin because we do our tins on Sundays and we were about to head out for brunch but still wanted to get a little bit on her tummy since we weren't leaving right that minute.
She had goldfish crackers, oranges (never had these before... didn't eat them), and the orange gummies from a pack of Finding Nemo fruit snacks (I know they look red in the picture, but I promise they're orange :P).
To see what others have come up with for MTM this week, head on over to Muffin Tin Mom!
Cute touch for the Finding Nemo snacks! :)
ReplyDeleteVery cute snack tin!
ReplyDeleteNice tin! Oranges have gone over big at my house. I hope you had a nice brunch.
ReplyDeleteGreat job! B won't eat a fresh orange, he'll just eat those little ones in a can. =)
ReplyDeleteI love the nemo snacks! The sticks would be a great hit here too!
ReplyDeleteMy 8 yr old loves oranges (and grapefruit) with honey drizzled on it.
ReplyDeleteStopping by from SITS :)

I like your food picks. Nice snack tin.
ReplyDeletegreat tins - red and orange!
ReplyDeleteYum! I want some strawberries and Jello cheesecake stuff, sounds good!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on both tins! Dawson hasn't tried oranges yet, he likes tomatoes and strawberries though, for now at least.
Nice tins. I like the snack choices.
ReplyDeleteI have found that D is more likely to eat oranges if I disect the orange so that there is none of the fibrous tissue. I know she gets less fiber this way, but she actually gets the meat of the orange that she wouldn't get otherwise.
ReplyDeleteUsing a tin as a just-about-to-leave-the-house snack is a great idea!
ReplyDeletejello cheesecake stuff. love it.
ReplyDeleteVery cute tins.
ReplyDeleteBoth red and orange looks yummy. My daughter loves the goldfish cracker!
ReplyDeleteVery cute snack you have there, you did great.
